Building an inclusive and diverse workforce

HSS is proud to launch its first Youth Action Plan (YAP) 2025-2028.

This plan aims to increase participation of employees aged 24 and under while strengthening HSS’ commitment to an inclusive workplace. It focuses on attraction, engagement, inclusivity, and career development to create pathways for young talent to thrive within HSS.

Young employees, who currently represent less than 3% of our workforce, bring fresh perspectives, technical agility, and the confidence to pioneer new ideas. Paired with the wealth of knowledge from our existing employees, they form the foundation of multigenerational teams that drive innovation, resilience, and growth.

Developed through a consultative process, the YAP reflects insights gathered from youth focused group sessions, mixed age working group sessions and members of the Extended Leadership Team. This collaborative process ensured the plan captured diverse perspectives, coming together to encourage an inclusive and diverse workforce.
