The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted daily life, and at times, forced people into isolation away from friends, family and colleagues. It presented some real challenges and impacts people’s mental health.
HSS had a significant role in:

  • The establishment of community and hospital COVID-19 vaccination clinics
  • Developing the SafeWA app
  • Developing VaccinateWA
  • Supplying quality PPE and medical consumables
  • Procuring Rapid Antigen Tests
  • Providing ICT support
  • Recruiting a highly skilled contingency workforce

Additional measures were implemented to provide a safe working environment for our people. This included providing free facemasks and hand sanitiser in the office, enhancing workplace cleanliness, supplying RAT’s and providing free onsite flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.

Flexible working has become the new normal at HSS since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s enabled our people to take a balanced approach to working from home and in their workplace, ultimately helping our team keep safe and healthy while also improving engagement and productivity in many areas of the organisation.
