WACHS receives access to online payslips
Health Support Services (HSS) has successfully launched a new online payslip portal to enable more than 10,600 WA Country Health Service (WACHS) employees to easily and securely access their current and historical payslips.
The portal allows WACHS staff to print their payslips at the touch of a button or email it to their preferred email address. Users can also set up automatic emailing of their payslip by completing a one-off form.
Julia Nicolls, Director Payroll Services said WACHS has become the first health service provider to fully transition to the portal.
“WACHS employees account for almost a quarter of our customer-base so this is a big step forward in our efforts to provide them with simple, reliable and responsive services,” Julia said.
"Our customers have been seeking online payslips for some time and we are proud to be able to deliver a solution that improves their experience with payroll services.”
The implementation of online payslips at WACHS was a result of a collaborative effort between HSS Payroll, Corporate Business Systems and extensive consultation with the customer. It follows a successful pilot of the initiative at East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) earlier this year.
WACHS Acting Principal Human Resource Consultant Steve Durnin thanked HSS for helping to facilitate the smooth transition from printed to online payslips.
“This is a significant milestone and a great outcome for our organisation and employees who have positively embraced this initiative,” Steve said.
Plans are in progress to introduce the portal to the remaining health services later in the year which will reduce the number of printed payslips posted to their employees every fortnight.
