We are delighted to share with you the HSS Annual Report 2024–25.

This year’s report reflects another period of meaningful progress, collaboration, and innovation across HSS. It’s a celebration of the incredible work we've contributed to in support of the WA heath system and the communities we serve.

Guided by our Strategic Plan, it's grouped under our strategic themes and showcases how we’ve continued to deliver impactful programs, services and initiatives that make a real difference, with some key highlights including:

  • Strengthened cyber security

  • NurseWest workforce boosted, playing a vital role in sustaining critical health services across the state

  • Digital Medical Record system rollout

  • Improved equity and inclusion with action plans, training and enhanced recruitment practices

  • Achieved full My Health Record integration

  • Maintained injury-free warehouses

  • Upgraded ICT infrastructure at 460+ sites

  • Launched WA Health Data Platform.

We’ve also made progress in the sustainability space, launching an ICT device recycling program, diverting expired medical consumables from landfill, and introducing tools like the Carbonisation Dashboard. In line with these efforts, we’re proud to share that this year’s printed edition is our first sustainable edition, published on FSC-approved 100 per cent recycled paper.

This year’s report also features a fresh new design making it easier than ever to navigate and read, so you can explore the stories and achievements that define our year.

Every achievement in this report is a direct result of our expertise and dedication to our shared purpose of supporting our customers to provide excellent health care.
