Customer Experience


Join our dynamic Customer Experience team that partners closely with the WA health system to deliver exceptional service and solutions that evolve with our customers’ needs. Our focus is on creating a seamless, responsive experience—providing clear escalation pathways and proactive support to resolve issues swiftly and effectively. We pride ourselves on exceeding expectations and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.

HSS’ Customer Experience team brings together three key areas: Customer Relationships, Contact Centre, and Corporate Development - these functions strengthen engagement with Health Service Providers, deliver responsive front‑line support, and drive strategic improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction.

Finance and Operations


Join our Finance and Operations team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-for-money services to our customers. We provide essential financial services including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Project Accounting, Treasury and Cashflow, General Ledger Systems, Tax Services, Data Analytics and Facilities Management.

Our team brings together financial expertise working collaboratively to support decision-making and the efficient delivery of services across the organisation.

Information Communication and Technology

Become part of our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team where we provide 24x7 end-to-end secure ICT services for the entire WA health system covering critical clinical and corporate systems, data interoperability and enablement, network systems and telecommunications. ICT infrastructure connects over 480 sites across WA! The systems and processes we develop and maintain supports improved patient safety outcomes by supporting our WA health frontline workers.

We’re delivering a $400M portfolio of major ICT programs and projects, driving digital innovation and transformation right across the WA health system.

We also provide and enable digital innovation via our solution architecture services, solution and innovation services, underpinned by our operational digital services teams.

The ICT team comprises, Planning and Architecture (Enterprise and Solution Architecture), Application Services, Service Operations, Cyber Security and Risk Management, Infrastructure Services, and Technology Performance and Governance.

Office of the Chief Executive

Join our Office of the Chief Executive team where we provide critical support to the HSS Board, Chief Executive and Executive Team, while ensuring HSS maintains a robust governance framework. This team comprises, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Audit, Communications, and Board Liaison and Coordination.

Procurement and Supply

Join our Procurement and Supply team where we leverage the buying power of the WA health system to deliver value for money and positive outcomes for our customers, and the WA community. We procure and supply clinical and medical equipment, ICT and other health-related goods and services through several of contracts and provide guidance and support for the WA health system to reduce the exposure to procurement and supply risk. Services include end-to-end supply chain management, accounts payable, distribution, category and contract management, guidance for any specific procurement policy queries as well as supply chain analytics for the WA health system.

Our strong, safety-conscious distribution centres assist us to store, pick and supply corporate and clinical supplies from our warehouses to health sites across WA.

Transformation and Strategy

Become a part of our Transformation and Strategy team, where we partner and collaborate across HSS and the WA Health system to shape, drive and deliver strategic initiatives. 

We are a high-performing, collaborative and inclusive team that draws on extensive knowledge and experience to provide leadership and expertise in strategy development, transformation delivery and change management. The business unit also includes the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, which supports consistent, high-quality delivery across HSS through organisation-wide program and project standards and assurance.

Together, we lead change that improves service delivery, strengthens organisational performance and supports HSS to deliver its strategic and operational priorities.

Workforce and Organisational Development

Join our Workforce and Organisational Development team where we’re building and nurturing the capability and capacity of our people and setting them up to thrive. We have a customer-centric culture, and we empower our people and leaders through supportive training and development programs. This team provides customer-focused services to the WA health system, and includes Payroll, Contact Centre, Employee Services and Assurance, Compliance and Analytics. 

If you’re a nurse or midwife seeking casual placements within the WA health system, you can join our NurseWest team. We provide a state-wide centralised casual pool of registered and enrolled nurses, midwives and assistants-in nursing (AINs) to fill temporary nursing shifts across both metro and regional areas.
