HSS welcomes our new Chief Executive

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Giles Nunis as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Nunis brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the health and technology sectors, which he has demonstrated on the HSS Board over the past 18 months. His appointment marks a significant step forward in HSS’s mission to deliver innovative, efficient, and digitally enabled support services to Western Australia’s public health system.
Prior to joining HSS, Mr. Nunis was Executive General Manager, Digital Transformation at the WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), where he led major initiatives to modernise and streamline healthcare delivery. Over his career he has also served in various senior leadership roles in both government and industry, including:
- WA Lead Consulting Partner and Government Lead Partner for Health and Technology at a global consulting firm
- Chief Executive and Whole of Government Chief Information Officer for the WA Government (2015–2018)
- Deputy Director General, Department of State Development
- National Managing Director, Ajilon (now Modis)
- Director Courts, WA Ministry of Justice.
Mr. Nunis is known for his strategic vision and commitment to digital transformation, with a proven track record of delivering impactful change across complex systems.
